Attention on the environment and climate continue to dominate, with decisions and developments being made across industries to enable the EU to reach its goals and become climate neutral.
DeHavilland EU's team of policy specialists have produced a briefing summarising the Circular Economy Package's new updates.
On 30 November, the European Commission issued three new communications under the second European Green Deal's Circular Economy Package, which includes:
• A Proposal on EU certification of carbon removals
• A Proposal on packaging and packaging waste
• A Proposal on biobased, biodegradable and compostable plastics
