The House of Lords enters Christmas recess on Wednesday 17 December.
The same day, Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls is expected to appear on LBC’s radio phone-in show.
The House of Commons will rise for Christmas recess a day later, on Thursday 18 December.
Prime Minister David Cameron will leave for the European Council, returning on Friday 19 December.
Thursday will also see Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs Minister Jo Swinson make an announcement on holiday pay, whilst Home Secretary Theresa May is expected to publish the Government’s response to the policing and mental health consultation.
In addition, Modern Slavery and Organised Crime Minister Karen Bradley is expected to publish anti-corruption plans via WMS.
