Work is beginning behind the scenes as the EU moves towards developing its next Multiannual Financial Framework - the all-important regulatory structure determining annual financial allocations.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the key Council meeting that will see member states approve the negotiating brief for the next phase of Brexit talks.

Here, Arran Russell, DeHavilland's Head of Service, gives you the lowdown on what to watch out for this March.

What's on the agenda this month

March will kick-off with the Presidency holding a Conference on Health as the Real Winner: Presidency conference on options to provide better medicines for all, while in the Council, the Working Party on Public Health will be meeting on the 9th, to discuss draft Council conclusions on healthy nutrition for children.
Later in the month, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the EMA is to hold its monthly meeting from the 19th to the 22nd, while the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) is to meet from the 13th to the 15th.
