What's on the agenda this month

The Parliament is continuing its work on the own-initiative on implementation of the Ecodesign Directive, which is due to be voted by the Plenary in the last week of May. Trilogues also continue on the proposals related to risk-preparedness in the electricity sector, and internal market for electricity. Proposals that make up the Circular Economy package are now on their way to the Council for their final adoption.
In term of new proposals, the Commission is expected to present a proposal on Energy Union and Climate, and a proposal on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the envirionment.
