What's on the agenda this month
by Alise Karcevska, EU Policy Analyst
Last month the Commission proposed a set of recommendations for how the EU can strengthen cooperation in the fight against diseases that can be prevented by vaccines. In May discussions will begin in the Council with the aim of seeing the proposal adopted before the end of 2018.
After a relatively quiet week in the Plenary followed by a Green Week, the ENVI Committee is set to vote on A European One Health Action Plan against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) on 16 May.
Finally, next month the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) will hold the 32nd International Congress on Occupational Health: Roadmap on Carcinogens - EU and national initiatives.
