What's on the agenda this month

Following the presentation of the Commission Work Programme, institutions are turning their attention to finalising the ongoing legislation.

In the upcoming month we will see discussion take place on access to coach and bus service market and implementation of special rules on maximum length of cabs. IMCO Committee is set to vote on the draft report on type-approval legislation in light of Brexit. Lastly, ITRE Committee will consider its draft report on the labelling of tyres and adopt its draft Opinion on autonomous driving.
For aviation, a plenary debate is expected on 29 of November on the common rules for the operation of air services in the Community.
For maritime, the TRAN Committee will consider draft report on Maritime Single Window environment while defence sector will see the dossier on European Defence Fund move to the Council, following a consideration of amendments and vote on the draft report within the committee.
